What platform should I use to start my blog?
When starting a blog you will notice that there are several options for platforms to build your blog upon. I would highly recommend building your blog with WordPress due to the many plugin options, themes and support available for that platform and its ease of use. If you would like to know how to start your blog, I recommend starting with this article here.
Where do I start?
A tough question as many are starting their blogging journey from different levels. If you are completely new, I’d recommend getting familiar with the terminology first. Having this strong base will make the next level easier. The next steps after that are (1) Determine your Niche, (2) Choose a Domain name/Registrar, (3) Choose your Blog platform. * See above question. (4) Choose a hosting company. Of course this is the simplistic overview of the steps, but should you need any help, please let me know and I’ll guide you through it.
Where should I host my blog?
There are a multitude of hosting companies out there such as BlueHost, SiteGator, Godaddy and Hostgator. Those are the most common names you will hear about. Of those, i’d recommend Sitegator. However, if you are willing to pay a little more for faster servers and excellent support, then I recommend LiquidWeb.
How do I choose a domain name?

Irregardless of the domain name, due to Google’s search algorithm cares more about the quality and uniqueness of the content more than the domain name. In the past, the domain name had much more weight. Irregardless, we still want a short, memorable, brandable domain name if possible. With so many factors to consider when choosing a domain name, I recommend that you start with this this article.
